Salmon fishing opens on Icicle

LEAVENWORTH — The spring chinook salmon fishery on Icicle River will open Saturday. The fishery is from the closure signs located 800 feet upstream of the mouth to 500 feet downstream of the Leavenworth National Fish Hatchery Barrier Dam. The daily limit is two salmon, minimum size of 12 inches. The fishery is slated to last through July 31.
